3 Days of Thanksgiving

A happy and an overwhelming 3rd quarter of International Thanksgiving to God was held at ADD Convention Center in Apalit Pampanga last September 27-29, 2013 which is lead by Bro Eli Soriano at Bro Daniel Razon.

Quarterly Members Church of God International are preparing so much to offer thanksgiving to God. Most of the brethren in the Luzon region are attending in Apalit Pampanga of course not all  have the capacity to go there so they just attend in different locales or coordinating centers including the brethren all over the world. Bro Eli was not at Apalit but we still feel his presence, see and hear him via satellite including the brethren outside the country.

We learned a lot and new topics are opened to us, of course I also take down notes for I will more understand it, with God's help brethren were amazed and feel blessed after the 4 topics were discussed. Aside from that we offer songs of praise to Give thanks to God because we learned that "It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High" (Psalms 92:1)

Thanks be to God for His loving and kindness!!!

Photowalk: A walk of click

Friday morning, (September 20, 2013) at exactly 5:00 in the morning where the sky was still dark and you can see no stars but all is full of clouds, I arrived from our locale to went to intramuros for our photowalk. When I am already in the bus going to munoz, I`m sitting beside the window while the strong cold wind was smashing my face, excitedly visualizing on what will happen on that event, making different shots in my mind; Planning to create a picture with a beautiful and and a very nice composition, I will make this and that and while making my fantasy, there was a bit of lightning that come up to my mind that makes me remember that I still don`t know how to get in our meeting place. But fortunately, after I get out in the LRT, I saw some of my classmates so I feel safe. A few minutes later after a not so long distance of walk, with God`s we arrived safe in the meeting place.

After of 2-3 hours of waiting, we finally went to intramuros to take pictures. When I saw a child crying and running I immediately click the shutter button to take the decisive moment, the result was very nice so what I felt was very great, so I take pictures from a low angel, high angle, and crazy angle. I click the shutter button many times to get a nice shot, I am sitting just to take a photo, I use to lay down in the floor just take my best shot. I click the shutter button at any moment just to take a beautiful shot. It was a great honor ehto hold a 10-20 mins. DSLR canon camera, it was an overwhelming experience to take not only a snapshot but a photo with some mixtures of compositions that you can proudly say of, "that is photography" I really appreciate our photowalk because it gives me a lot of meaningful experience.

The friday morning of September 20, 2013 at exactly 5:00 in the morning I am arriving to intramuros that is full of action and adventure was a very unforgettable experience in my life that I will surely treasure.

Nasaan na ang Bilyong-bilyong pera? (Current Event)

P10 Billion Pork Barrel Scam. Matataya itong isa sa pinakamalaking scam na nangyari sa historya ng Pilipinas na kung saan nagdulot ng napakalaking gulo at pagtatalo sa pagitan ng gobyerno at mamamayang
pilipino. sinasabing ang utak sa scam na ito ay walang iba kundi si Janet Lim Napoles na kung saan nagtago ng ilang araw at linggo dahil sa ginawa nitong krimen. Ngunit makaraan ang ilang araw matapos patungan ng P10 Million ang ulo ni Napoles para sa makakahanap sa kanya ng buhay ay kusa na lang itong sumuko mismo sa loob ng Malacañan at sa harap mismo ng Pang. Aquino.

Matapos sumuko si Napoles, agad itong dinala sa Makati City Jail ngunit agad ding inilipat sa ibang presinto sa kadahilanang hindi ligtas ang kanyang seguridad doon.

Sinasabi na sa scam na ito ay hindi nag iisa si Napoles, kundi may ilang senador syang kasama sa hatian ng nasabing pera, ang mga senador na dinadawit dito ay sina Senators Jinggo Estrada, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Gregorio Honasan, Juan Ponce Enrili at Ramon Bong Revilla Jr.

Ngayong nahuli na ang utak sa Pork Barrel Scam, at inilalatag na rin ang susunod na kasong para sa kanya at para sa iba pa, ano na kaya ngayon ang susunod na hakbang? Ano na kaya mangyayari sa bilyon-bilyong perang nawala? At kani-kanino na kaya talaga ito napunta? Sino-sino na kaya ang humawak at saan kaya nila ginamit?

Ang bilyon-bilyong pera na pinag-ipunan ay saan na kaya napunta?

A Fortunate Student (Feature)

La Verdad Christian College was the first College in the Philippines that has a full scholarship plan, no tuition fee, no miscellaneous fee, the uniforms are free, your breakfast and your lunch are also for free. This College was founded by Bro. Eli F. Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon, this college is for the students who have not enough to support their college fees. Last year, I saw lot of students that inquires and take the exam, but only few were given a chance to attain the full scholarship.

 So, the question is, why am I here in L.V.C.C.? Well, it is also the questioned that stays marked in my mind, I`m just thinking that is the mercy of God why he allows me to enter to this college school. But another reason that I am thinking is, I am here in La Verdad Christian College to be a small instrument to guide some of the students to know the true gospel of God and to open their minds.

Well, anyway, as far as I am here in La Verdad, I feel flattered because I am very comfortable with this school, I am not only gaining knowledge academically but also biblical. That is why I can say thanks be to God for his kindness that I am the one of the fortunate students that is still staying in this kind of dreamed school of most students.

Bugso ng UNTV Cup (Sports)

Painit ng painit ang laban na nilalahokan ng AFP, Judiciary, PNP, MMDA, Philhealth, DOJ at Congress-LGU  sa patuloy na ginaganap na 1st UNTV CUP sa Ynares Sports Complex at Pasig Sports Complex, ang nasabing palaro o liga ay ginaganap tuwing linggo alas 2 ng hapon sa mga nasabing lugar.

Ang liga na ito na nilalahokan ng mga Government Officials ay naisakatuparan sa pangunguna ni Mr.Public Service, Kuya Daniel Razon na naglalayon  na matulungan ang mga mamamayang Pilipino sa kapalit na charity ng mananalo sa pamamagitan ng larong basketball na sya namang kinagigiliwan ng maraming Pinoy.

Matatandaan na ang 1st UNTV Cup ay nagpasimula noong ika-29 ng Hulyo taong kasalukuyan, at patuloy pa rin ang laro. At mula noong nagumpisa ang ligang ito, nasa unang pwesto pa rin ang PNP na may standing na 4-0, sumunod naman ang Judiciary at AFP na may standing na 3-2, humahabol din ang Philhealth at MMDA na may standing na 2-2, sunod ang CONG-LGU na may 2-3 na standing at huli ang DOJ na may standing na 0-5.

Dear Kuya

Dear Kuya, it is a segment in radio that is hosted by a veteran broadcaster Kuya Daniel Razon.
The topics that is tackling in the said segment was topics that some of the people will relate on what is happening on their current lives.

The uniqueness of this radio program is every after of one topic there is always be an spiritual advice from Bro. Eli Soriano, he will give you an advice that is based from the Bible. You can apply the words of God that Bro. Eli will advice to you, and that is what this radio program makes it very beautiful and very unique.

And also, this radio program has a radio drama that is participated by the La Verdad Christian College Students and one of the instructor.

As far as I know, this was the first radio program that has its uniqueness because of the spiritual advice's that Bro. Eli will tell.

The Christian Living Week x)

"The Christian Living Week" this was one of the big event of January that will really marks in my mind. This event are participated by the Mass Communication Technology Students and Health Care Services Students. The said event was the first time in La Verdad Christian College, it is first time to conduct that kind of beautiful event.

It is beautiful event because most of the participants are from the non-member of the M.C.G.I. it was very wonderful to see that the participants are preaching the gospel of God that is very different from their faith.

By the way, the categories that this event have are the Bible Preaching, Bible Quiz Bee, Solo Singing, Poster Making, Choral and Christian Dance.This event was one of my unforgettable experience because I am not expecting that we will win in the Choral and Christian Dance category even though we are the simplest.

This event also has it "Gayak Fashion Show" where some of the students wear an out pit that you will see how a Christian wear a right suite.

"3 Idiots" is movie that you can learn a lot, it will help you how to stand firm on what case you are in, it has a lot of very meaningful message where you will motivate to continue even though there are lot of struggles and challenges you will encounter while you are continuing the fight.

This movie was one of the very educational and very beautiful movie that I ever watched, I think it is because of the different kind of twist of the story. The movie has a comedy, drama, tragedy, and also a little bit of romance.



In this movie I love the part when Rancho told his instructor in a different manner that not all the things will explain in a very difficult, sometimes you just need to tell in a simple way.

I am recommending you to watch this movie because you will really learn a lot and your heart will touch about the story.

Gadget Review! ;)

The Cellular Phone or "cell phone" in short term was one of the great inventions of our time. Because this gadget can access you even though you are in the other part of the world. This gadget helps a lot in our daily life, we can communicate even you are hundred miles away. Not like before when it was using a letter made by an ink of a pen and a sheet of paper, it will take very long before you will receive the message of the sender. Not unlike the Cellular Phone nowadays, only a minute will take just to receive your message from the sender. A cell phone can also use in times of emergency, like when you are trap in the middle of somewhere. You can also use your phone to some entertainment when you are bored. You can play different kind of games, you can use it to surf and you can listen to your favorite songs. But even though there are lots of advantages of having a cell phone, do we realized that it also have its disadvantages?

Cell phones makes people especially some of the teenagers be addicted for messaging, playing games and be disturbed to their studies. It also  have radiation and lots of bacteria from it, we know that radiation was a very dangerous in human health. It can cause some diseases and the bacteria can cause lots of illness. So, I just want you to know that not all materials that is very useful in our life can make our life easier and and make things faster, sometimes there are things that can make us harm if we don`t know how to use it in a right manner. Because every gadgets and things we use has also it`s bad effects and disadvantages.

Song Review :)

 The song that I chose was entitled "All I Have To Give" by Backstreetboys. This song was a very sweet kind of song because the lyrics was very beautiful, it states that even though the speaker don`t have any luxurious materials to give to her love one just see her happy, he will be always there beside of the girl just to give his love for her because it is the only thing he can give. And he will do his best even though there would be lots of trials and sacrifices that he will encounter. And also this song was very romantic because every lines was  very sincere, and the love that he will give is priceless that no one can ever take it from her. This song was one of my favorite because it proves that material things are not the primary need just to show your love, you just need to be sincere on what you feel and must be loyal for every words you say, because no luxurious material in the world can replace your sincere and faithful love. and also the reason why this song was one of my favorite is because when I am listening to this song it makes my heart and mind peaceful. This was a very nice song and I love it. I hope you will love it too. :)

      I am Patrick Caiña, a simple teenager in the City of Quezon. I know you want to know things about me, and that is why I made this blog for you. Well, first I am a kind of a guy who loves to dance. But I am not admitting or telling that I am a very good dancer because the kind of dancing that I dances was not a street dancing or anything else.
